What this site collects

Famously Said has no accounts, sign-ups or forms. The site keeps daily totals of how often each page is viewed and what is searched for, to see which quotes and people readers look for. Nothing in those totals identifies a visitor: no IP addresses, no cookies and no device details are stored with them.

Like most websites, the web server keeps standard logs of requests (IP address, browser, the page asked for, the time) for security and to fix problems. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which handles those requests and may set a cookie to protect the site from abuse; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Advertising

This site shows ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to visitors based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.

Children

The site isn’t directed at children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect information from them.
