Walt Whitman on religion

To me every hour of the light and dark is a miracle,
Every cubic inch of space is a miracle.

Nothing can happen more beautiful than death.

The Bible is not my book, and Christianity is not my religion. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma.
